Temple is becoming part of Groover. Your site isn't going away, it's moving onto Groover, where it'll sit alongside the rest of your artist profile. Your existing links keep working, and your fan data comes with you. Here's what to expect 👇
1. The dates to know
Monday 7 to Wednesday 9 September: you won't be able to log in or edit your Temple page while we move everything across
Wednesday 9 September: the new Temple starts going live on Groover
Friday 11 September:everyone is fully migrated
💡 Your public page stays online the whole time. Fans can still visit your Link-in-bio, open your Drops, RSVP and subscribe during the migration. The pause only affects your access to the dashboard.
2. What happens to each part of Temple
🔗 Your Link-in-bio: moves across as it is. Your page name and URL, profile image, background, social links, featured links and pinned promotions all come with you.
🎵 Your Drops: all of them carry over: Music, Event, Merch, RSVP and Content Drops. Your ordering stays as you set it, hidden Drops stay hidden, and grouped Drops stay grouped.
🔗 Your multi-links and RSVP pages: keep working at the same URLs. Anything you've already shared in a bio, a post or a newsletter still points to the right place.
👯 Your Audience: your full fan database comes across, including contacts you imported by CSV, everything captured through Subscribe buttons and RSVP pages, and your saved Audience Segments.
📈 Your Analytics: your page visits, clicks, streams and purchase tracking continue.
✉️ Messaging: this one is different, see section 5 below.
3. What you can't do between 7 and 9 September
For those three days, you won't be able to:
log in to Temple
edit your page, add or reorder Drops, or change your design
add contacts, create segments, or export your audience
send or schedule messages
Nothing is deleted, and you don't need to back anything up.
💡 Want a copy of your fan data before the pause? You can export your audience as a CSV any time before 7 September: go to Audience, apply filters or leave them empty to select everyone, then click Export. It's not required, your data moves with you either way, but it's there if you'd like your own copy.
4. What happens on go-live day
You'll get an email inviting you to log in or sign up on Groover. Follow it and you'll land straight on your profile, already filled in with everything from your Temple page.
All your existing links keep working. You don't need to update anything anywhere.
5. Messaging is paused for now
Email, SMS and IG DM messaging isn't coming across straight away. It's paused during the migration and will be back in a few weeks.
That means during this period you won't be able to send one-off messages, schedule sends, or run message sequences triggered by fan actions like RSVPs and subscribes.
Your audience and segments are all still there and ready to use as soon as messaging returns.
If you're currently using Messaging, don't hesitate to reach if you have further questions!
6. If you already have a Groover account under a different email
This is the one case where we need to hear from you.
If your Groover account uses a different email address than your Temple account, get in touch so we can link the two. Otherwise your page ends up on one account and your Groover profile on another.
Write to support@groover.co or via the ? icon with both email addresses and we'll connect them for you.
7. Something not working?
If your page looks wrong after the migration, a Drop is missing, or a link isn't behaving, tell us and we'll fix it. Write to support@groover.co and mention that you're a Temple user.
