What is Your Release Plan on Groover?

Everything you need to know about Your Release Plan: a 3-campaign promotion sequence built to boost your track.

Written by Emma Ballay

Promoting a release often means running the same campaign over and over. Your Release Plan takes care of that for you: it's a structured sequence of 3 campaigns built around a single track, scheduled in advance and designed to adapt to your results as you go 🚀

How does it work?

When you start a campaign, right after the "track info" step you'll be able to choose between a Classic campaign and a Release Plan. If you pick the Release Plan, we build a sequence of 3 campaigns around your track:

  • Campaign 1 starts on your release date (or right away if your track is already out).

  • Campaigns 2 and 3 unlock automatically once the previous one ends. Each campaign lasts 7 days, and they're spaced across roughly an 8-week cycle so your track stays visible over time.

After each campaign, we analyse which curators responded best to your music and use those signals to recommend the most relevant curators for your next campaign, so every round is a little more tailored to your track.

Who is it for?

Your Release Plan is available to artists who have already sent at least one campaign on Groover, in genres with enough curators to fill all three campaigns. If you don't see the option yet, it simply isn't available for your profile at the moment.

How much does it cost?

You pay for the whole plan upfront, in Grooviz, from your wallet. Your budget is based on your previous campaign spending, with a minimum of 150 Grooviz for the campaigns, plus a 9 Grooviz plan fee (this covers the plan setup, the adaptive recommendations, and your campaign result summaries).

Hype and Charts are added to your plan by default to maximise your results, but you can remove either of them before paying if you'd prefer.

Can I review or edit my campaigns?

Yes! You stay in control at every step. Before each campaign launches, you can review the recommended curators and remove any you don't want to contact. Any Grooviz not spent on curators stays in your wallet.

Can I cancel a campaign?

You can cancel Campaign 2 or Campaign 3 at any time before they launch, the unused Grooviz simply go back to your wallet. Campaign 1 can't be cancelled, as it starts your plan, but you can still remove curators from it beforehand (down to the 150 Grooviz minimum).

How do I follow my results?

After each campaign ends, you'll receive a results summary, both in your account and by email, recapping how curators responded and highlighting what we'll prioritise for your next campaign. You can find and manage your plan anytime under the "My Release Plan" section of your homepage.
