Understanding your curator dashboard

Your curator dashboard is your home base on Groover. It's where you manage incoming submissions, track what you've acted on, and control how your profile appears to artists

  1. The three main tabs

1. To do

Everything that currently needs your attention is in your to do tab. Any track an artist has submitted to you will appear here until you've acted on it. Inside To Do, you can filter your queue by:

  • All = every track currently pending

  • Urgent = tracks to prioritize (they expire in less than 48 hours)

  • To listen = tracks you haven't reviewed yet

  • In progress = tracks you've approved and have open opportunities to complete

2. Done

A full history of everything you've acted on is available in the done tab. Use the filters to navigate:

  • Shared = tracks you decided to feature

  • Feedback only = tracks you reviewed but didn't feature

  • Scheduled = shares planned but not yet published

  • All completed = everything fully wrapped up (feedback only + shared)

  • Expired = submissions that ran out of time. As a reminder, you have 7 days to respond to a submission, after that, the track expires, disappears from your dashboard and the artist is automatically refunded.

  • Canceled = submissions cancelled by the artist

3. Public profile

Your public profile is your curator page as artists see it when browsing Groover. You can view and edit your profile directly from this tab: bio, links, genres, and preferences. Keeping it up to date helps attract submissions that are a better fit for you.


2. Reviewing a track

When you review a submission, you can listen to the track and decide what to do with it. You have two options:


3. Opportunities

Each opportunity has its own status so you can track what's done and what's still pending:

  • Waiting for files = you're waiting on the artist to send specific required assets before you can complete the opportunity.

  • 1 opportunity to complete (or more) = you still need to act on the opportunities you agreed to and share the proof of share link with the artist.


4. Messaging artists

When you approve a track, you can send up to 5 messages to the artist directly from the dashboard. Use this to request specific files, share details about where you'll feature their track, or coordinate anything you need. Artists are notified when you message them.


5. Deadlines and expiration

Each submission comes with a 7-day response window — you can see the countdown on every track in your To Do queue. If you don't respond in time, the track expires and moves to the Expired section of your Done tab, and the artist is automatically refunded. Letting tracks expire hurts your response rate, which affects how likely artists are to submit to you in the future. Staying on top of your queue is one of the best ways to build your reputation on Groover and keep great music coming your way.
