With Groover’s current development, we have long aimed to invite high-caliber curators and music pros who can elevate the artists discovered on our platform. This is why we created the "Top Curator/Pro" program, which includes a limited number of curators and music pros.
By definition, Top Curators are professionals and companies that, due to their great work, solid brand image, content quality, and community engagement, can have a significant impact on an artist's career through impactful opportunities (sharing) and/or knowledge (valuable feedback).
The chosen curators/pros stand out by their undeniable influence and the quality of the content they produce, already both characteristics which we evaluate when we review the curators/pros applications to join Groover. This is what justifies their price of 4 Grooviz (= €4), 6 Grooviz (= €6), or 10 Grooviz (= €10), against 2 Grooviz for all other curators/pros present on the platform.
💡 Tip: even if not part of the "Top Curators/Pros", quite a few curators/pros are awarded the badges "Impactful" and "High-Quality Feedback" when they stand out in these categories.
How Are They Chosen?
First of all, it is important to note that "Top Curators/Pros" are selected by an editorial decision made by the team responsible for the curator/pro community at Groover. Only a few are chosen (less than 7% of all curators/pros). Several criteria prevail:
An entity recognized in the music industry for the quality of the content, clarity of the editorial line, and influence.
They have a considerable impact or provide recognition to the artists shared, both qualitatively and quantitatively.
They are among the curators/pros who receive the most tracks on Groover and/or are most requested by artists.
How to Spot Them
The "Top Curators/Pros" can be identified by the presence of the badge below, the mention "Top Curator/Pro," and the cost of 4, 6, or 10 Grooviz, instead of 2 to contact them.
Who are the Top Curators/Pros?
The selection of "Top Curator/Pros" on Groover will evolve month after month. As of today, we have amazing names such as Alexraindbird, Ricardo Durán (Editor-in-chief of Rolling Stone en Español), DJ Mag Germany, and many others.
