How do I access Charts?
Groover Charts can be found at https://groover.co/charts/. It’s also accessible by both artists in curators via the dropdown in the top right corner of Groover.
How do I benefit from being on Groover Charts?
We’ll be sharing the Charts playlist and featured tracks from the Charts to our socials, including our Instagram accounts (with a combined 34K followers).
We’ll also be advertising it to our entire curator base and music industry scouts.
We’ll make it publicly accessible via our blog, landing page, more!
How can my track get on Groover Charts?
Your track is eligible for Charts by selecting “Get Charts” on the campaign recap step of your campaign for 19G.
Charts is applied at the track level, so once you add it on one campaign, you won’t need to re-purchase it for a new campaign for the same track.
Will there be more Charts in the future?
Yes! We’ll have more Charts coming soon (for example: Top Tracks per Genre).
Purchasing Charts makes your track eligible for all of the Charts we offer.
How is it determined what tracks appear on Charts, and in what order?
Based on your track’s performance on Groover — including factors like opportunity rate, acceptances from Top Curators and picky curators, and personal listening from our team — you can be placed on Charts.
Since eligibility is in part based on # of acceptances, it’s generally easier to rank more highly if you send to more curators. However, that is far from being the determining factor!
How long will my track be on Charts?
There will be a “decay factor” based on the # of days since you sent your last campaign, meaning that over time your track will move down in ranking as new ones become eligible. After a bit of time, your track may fall off the Charts, but if you send a new campaign for it (no need to re-purchase Charts), you once again may see your track on it.
When will I see my track appear?
In most cases, your track will be eligible to appear on Charts at the end of your campaign, as we use your campaign results to help inform its position. We recommend that you don’t purchase Charts for a track until it’s publicly shareable, since we share the link directly on Charts.
For larger campaigns, the track may appear earlier than that, as we’re able to get more results quickly and understand better where to place your track.
You can expect your track to appear on the first Friday after your campaign ends. We’ll send you an email when it’s ready — or you can check groover.co/charts.
Can I have multiple tracks on Charts?
Yes! There’s no limit to the number of tracks you can have on Charts. Having multiple tracks on Charts can be a great signifier that your album is trending, for example.
What happens if I don’t get on Charts?
If your track doesn’t make it onto Charts, you’ll get your credits back. Sending another campaign for the same track will not qualify for Charts, since the credits were refunded.
How can I listen to Charts?
You can listen to all Charts tracks at groover.co/charts. We’ll show your YouTube, SoundCloud, or Audiomack track in an embeddable player that you can listen to on Groover. If your track makes the Top 100, it’ll also be featured on our Spotify playlist.
