What exactly is Hype?

Hype is a new feature that allows you to boost your track on Groover, in order to help make your track stand out from other releases.

When curators see your track, they’ll know it’s a Hype release from the “HYPE” label. It will always appear at the top of their inbox, making it more highly visible and attractive to them. This means curators are more likely to respond quickly to your tracks, and share them more quickly as well. You can take a look at what a curator will see here:

Your track labeled Hype will also appear at the top of the list of tracks to be shared.

Am I eligibile for Hype?

To start, we are just limiting this feature to artists with a proven track record of success, meaning those who have received at least five opportunities on Groover. Once you hit this threshold, you’ll be able to “Get Hype” on the Track Recap step of your next campaign.

Which curators will see my track appear at the top of their inbox & labeled as Hype?

All curators who you’ve sent the track to will see it at the top of their inbox, both for tracks awaiting feedback and tracks awaiting shares.

If I pay for my track to be labeled Hype, and then I send follow-up campaigns for the same track, will those submissions also be Hype?

Yes! Every submission you send for the track will be labeled Hype and appear and the top of curator inboxes. You won’t ever need to pay for Hype multiple times for the same track.

How long will my track be labeled Hype?

Your track will always be labeled as Hype!

We want you to get the most out of every campaign, and to be able to proudly display your track is Hype. We’ll be adding more places on the site in the future where you can show off your track’s Hype status.

How will Hype affect my track’s impact?

As the feature is new, we don’t yet have impact statistics available. However, you’re guaranteed higher visibility, which may translate to more opportunities, a higher # of curators responding to you, quicker response times, and quicker share times.

How much does Hype cost?

Hype costs 19 Grooviz (€19) per track.
